Projective Virtual Reality

Intelligent man and machine interfaces represent the key technologies for applications in service robotics, in industrial automation technology and also in space applications. MMI develops innovative VR systems, which combine intuitive controls, graphic monitoring, as well as interactive training for complex automation systems within a uniform, easy-to-understand interface. This technology also allows the operator to initiate complex tasks intuitively. Knowledge on robot control and automation systems is no longer necessary.
The operator therefore no longer needs to be a robotics expert, but can instead concentrate on the basics i.e. controlling and monitoring the process. The system has the ability to recognise the action of the operator, transfers this to the automation system, which subsequently carries out the actions in the real world
